Thomas Jones Work was built from the ground up by practitioners — people who had managed contracts, navigated procurement regulations, and delivered projects before they ever hung a shingle. The firm didn't start with a pitch deck. It started with a phone call from a municipal client who needed someone who actually knew what they were doing.
Over twenty years, we've grown into a firm that operates across all three major contracting sectors: federal and state government, city and county municipal work, and complex private development. Each sector has its own language, its own compliance landscape, and its own political dynamics. We speak all three fluently.

Thomas founded the firm after fifteen years managing federal contracts and municipal infrastructure programs from the inside. He has led engagements ranging from $8M municipal rehabilitation projects to $90M federal program recoveries. He holds a PMP certification and has served as an expert witness in three federal contract disputes.
